Service area

Solar panel cleaning across the Antelope Valley.

High desert: Palmdale, Lancaster, and Quartz Hill. A different climate, different rules, and the strongest case for solar cleaning anywhere we work.

Working in the Antelope Valley

What conditions are like here.

The Antelope Valley is genuinely a different climate from the rest of our service area, not just a farther drive. At roughly 2,700 feet it sits in high desert: intense UV, wide daily temperature swings, very little rainfall, and near-constant wind moving fine alkaline dust across everything.

For solar owners that combination is unusually punishing. The sun exposure is why so many AV homes have arrays in the first place, but the same open sky comes with a dust load that no other part of our territory matches. Panels here visibly soil faster than anywhere else we service, and a rinse accomplishes very little because the dust is mineral-rich and clings.

Water hardness compounds it. AV groundwater is hard even by Southern California standards, so anything cleaned with tap water and left to dry spots almost immediately. This is the area where purified water stops being a nicety and starts being the only method that works.

Local conditions

High desert dust
Constant wind moves fine alkaline dust that clings rather than sitting loose.
Extreme UV exposure
Open sky in every direction, and the fastest visible soiling we see anywhere.
Very hard water
Tap water dries to visible spots almost immediately, so purified water is essential here.

Services

What Antelope Valley homeowners book most.

Ordered by what the conditions here actually call for.

“I recently called Aurix Luxury Services to clean my solar panels after the rain and I’m honestly impressed. The before and after difference was huge, they went from dusty and dull to looking brand new. You can actually see the shine and reflection again. They showed up on time, were easy to work with, and did a really solid job. Definitely recommend them if your panels need a good cleaning!”

FAQ

Common questions.

With purified water and a soft brush, and nothing else. The reason purified water matters is that it carries no dissolved minerals, so it dries without leaving the spotting that ordinary tap water leaves behind. Where an array can be reached safely from the ground we work from the ground, which is better for your landscaping and safer for our crew. Where it cannot, our technicians are trained and insured for roof work.

It is what happens before anyone quotes you a price. We work through four steps on the roof, in the same order every time, covering the system itself, the contamination on it, the bird activity under it, and the written report at the end. It usually takes twenty to thirty minutes on a residential array, it costs nothing, and you are under no obligation afterward. The result is photographs, a Solar Care Grade, your options, and a final project price. It is a visual assessment, not an electrical, roofing, wildlife, or engineering inspection.

A simple A-to-F description of the condition your array is in when we arrive, so the recommendation is not just our word against your eyes. Grade A is clean and protected; B is light contamination; C means cleaning is recommended; D means heavy contamination or bird activity; F means severe buildup, nesting, or that protection is strongly recommended. It grades what we can see on and around the panels. It is not a performance, electrical, production, or system-health grade.

Because the space under a panel is one of the few genuinely sheltered spots on a house that nothing ever disturbs. Pigeons are the usual occupants in our area, and they return to a site that has worked before, which is why the problem tends to come back rather than pass. The other reason we get asked this is timing: homeowners almost always notice in spring, when a site that was occupied quietly all winter suddenly gets noisy.

Four valleys across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Santa Clarita Valley: Santa Clarita, Valencia, Saugus, Newhall, Canyon Country, Stevenson Ranch, and Castaic. San Fernando Valley: Porter Ranch, Northridge, Granada Hills, Chatsworth, West Hills, Woodland Hills, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, Studio City, Valley Village, and North Hollywood. Conejo Valley: Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Calabasas, Simi Valley, and Moorpark. Antelope Valley: Palmdale, Lancaster, and Quartz Hill. If you are nearby and do not see your city listed, just ask. We will confirm the same day.
