Both problems are cheaper early.
Contamination builds gradually, and so does bird activity. Both are considerably easier, and cheaper, to deal with near the point they start than a year or two later. That is the entire argument for putting the array on a schedule instead of calling when it finally looks bad.
A Solar Care Plan sets the cadence, and we handle the rest: we book it, clean with purified water, photograph the before and after, and give the panels and any installed bird barrier a visual look-over on every visit.

Every visit starts the same way, and you get the findings in writing with photographs before anyone quotes you a number.

Document the panel count, layout, roof access, and visible condition of the array.

Contamination inspection
Identify visible dust, pollen, mineral buildup, bird droppings, and other surface contamination.

Bird-activity inspection
Check for visible bird activity, accessible nesting debris, and potential entry points underneath the panels.
- 04
Solar Care Report
Provide photographs, a Solar Care Grade, recommended options, and a clear final project price.

The Aurix Clean & Protected Guarantee.
If your panels aren’t visibly clean and spot-free when we finish, or our bird-proofing mesh loosens because of our workmanship within 5 years, we’ll return and correct it at no charge.
Seven-day spot-free guarantee
If visible spotting or residue caused by our cleaning appears within seven days, we’ll return and re-clean the affected panels at no charge.
5-year bird-proofing workmanship guarantee
If the mesh we installed loosens, detaches, or creates an entry gap because of our workmanship within 5 years, we’ll return and repair it at no charge.
Property cleanup promise
If we leave removed debris or installation materials behind, notify us within 24 hours and we’ll return to clean it up.
The guarantee covers Aurix’s cleaning result and our installation workmanship: that the panels are visibly clean and spot-free when we finish, and that the mesh we fitted stays fitted. It is not a performance warranty. We do not guarantee a level of electrical output, a specific saving, or that birds will never return to the property.

Over the life of the system, that is the whole point of doing it. A solar panel makes electricity from the light that reaches the cells, so anything sitting on the glass, whether that is dust, pollen, mineral film, or bird droppings, is light the array never gets to use. Clearing it off lets the system work the way it was designed to, and on equipment you will own for twenty or thirty years, that adds up. What we will not do is put a percentage or a dollar figure on your array before we have seen it. How much any given system gains back depends on how soiled it actually was, the season, the weather, shading, and the equipment itself, and anyone quoting you a number without looking at your roof is guessing. We show you what came off the panels and photograph the before and after, so you can see the difference for yourself.
